These labels are also commonly referred to as decals. They are primarily applied to glass surfaces and held in place by a static charge incorporated into the label material. There is no adhesive. Because they are frequently applied to clear glass, they are often printed to be read from both sides of the glass. Easy removal, or easy removal and reapplication is the primary reason for choosing static cling over pressure sensitive labels. White and clear materials are available.
